“We Are Not a Glum Lot”AA Mid-Surrey Intergroup Convention 2026
Saturday 13th June | Guildford
AA Mid-Surrey warmly invites you to a day of fellowship, shared experience and recovery in Guildford for our 2026 convention, “We Are Not a Glum Lot.”
The programme begins from 9:30am with registration, tea and coffee, followed by a full day that includes a Newcomers Chip Meeting, an AA meeting, an Al-Anon meeting, a Long Term Sobriety Platform, an AA & Al-Anon Shared Platform Meeting, Sobriety Countdown, and the MSIG Convention Raffle.
It promises to be a day with a real breadth of experience in recovery — from those just finding their way into AA, to those with long-term sobriety to share. There will be a variety of speakers, time for fellowship, refreshments available throughout the day, and space to pause for lunch in the Millmead Centre or by the river nearby.

The venue is centrally located in Guildford, with good transport links, nearby public car parks, and Park and Ride options at Artington and Merrow.
Suggested admission: £5, or give what you can.
