A special invitation…
to a culminating artistic event!
TWU Alumni, Friends, and Members of the Photographic Arts Community:
A unique and historic photographic arts exhibit known as, "A Yellow Rose Project," will be on display in Denton, Texas, at the Fine Arts Building at Texas Woman's University, August 11 through September 5, 2025.
Designed to celebrate the centennial of the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, "A Yellow Rose Project," is a photographic collaboration of 106 women across the United States who created images in response, reflection, and reaction to this historic event. This exhibition has been on national tour for several years, but has never included the works of all 106 artists until now!
"A Yellow Rose Project," is the brainchild of founders Meg Griffiths, Associate Professor of Photography at Texas Woman’s University-Denton, and Frances Jakubek, independent curator, art consultant, and former director of exhibitions and operations at the Bruce Silverstein Gallery in New York City.
