A World of Light: A special show of art glass and expressive painting fills the big gallery at The Art Studios for 2nd Saturday, The show features the works of glass artist Eli Pitts and expressionist painter Lori Franz with their complementary views of light and the world. Glass art - where color and light intersect, dance, and play.. Blown Glass is the medium of light, light refraction and light magnification, creating a world of shape and color. Painting illuminates the world of people, space and emotion. As always, the 4 studios have available the works of the 15 resident artists. 5:9 pm second Saturday August 13, down the narrow path beside Bambi's Restaurant at 18th and I.
