A Witch's Guide to Ethical Ghost Hunting| 2nd Annual Spirit Walk
Schedule
Sat Oct 26 2024 at 05:00 pm to 07:00 pm
Location
North Park Loop Trail (Joe K's Trail) | Havre de Grace, MD
About this Event
This is not your usual ghost "hunting": we''ll be looking at what ghosts actually are... and what else you might be dealing with when you aren't necessarily getting the "human" vibe.
Join us in historical Havre de Grace to investigate some of the well-known and lesser known paranormally active sites. Founded over 250 years ago, this town is home to mysterious happenings. We'll be visiting some of those significant locations.
We'll begin our walk at the head of the Joe K Trail by the Lock House and the Havre de Grace Marine Center, on the site of the ice house built in the 1910s. We'll explore the vicinity as well where some happenings have been reported. Next, we will drive across town (or ride the local trolly) to Concord Point Light House. We'll investigate where hauntings were first reported 150 years before as well as tune into our own intuititions and talk about what other layers we may discover.
At each location, we will explain and explore the complexity of Spirit work -- we'll look at what we're really doing when we invite spirits to enter our space, and the sorts of spirits we might encounter, such as land spirits, genius loci, egregores, and what demons are and are not.
We will have the opportunity to work with First Call Paranormal for our investigation portion to put what we learned into practice.
This investigation includes a complete written guide to techniques you can use to connect with spirits more ethically and intentionally.
What to bring:
- a flashlight
- a pendulum or any communicative tool you'd like to use or try *not required at all!*
