December 21 is the shortest day of the year - the longest night - and is the first day of astronomical winter. Cultures around the world have a long history of celebrating the winter solstice. Ancient cultures whose survival depended upon sunlight marked this night with elaborate celebrations, as it heralded the beginning of the days getting longer.
Prepare for the turning of the year with us! Join me and Yoga With Ruby at Arkansas Yoga Collective on Saturday, December 21 for a Winter Solstice experience.
