A Week of Silence, Prayer, and Peace: A Directed Retreat with Kathy Irr and Sr Ann RodgersDuring their mid-July stay, individuals are blessed with the opportunity to enter into prayerful silence – free from social pressures of conversation – in order to focus on their inner spiritual journey. Other than times of meeting with a retreat leader or spiritual director and during worship, retreatants commit themselves to a spirit of quiet. All meals are taken in a silent dining room.
