Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of "A Week in Tokyo"!
Step back in time and join us as we revive the original "A Week in Tokio" event, first held at Hamilton Hill Memorial Hall in 1925 — complete with baby competitions and boxing matches! Now, 100 years later, we bring it back with a vibrant new twist!
"A Week in Tokyo" is a free, family-friendly Japanese cultural festival featuring:
🎵 Traditional Taiko drumming by Taiko ON
💃 Bon Odori (Bon Dance) with Wabonren
🌸 Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) demonstrations
🍙 Delicious Japanese food by Omusubi Natchan
Also, don’t miss our hands-on cultural workshops running from Monday 18th to Thursday 21st of August 2025, where you can dive deeper into the art and spirit of Japan!
