Prolific composer, guitarist Jim Scott was awarded an NEA grant to present this concert experience in Worcester MA with band and chorus. Now he’s taking this message on the road. Mixing powerful songs and beautiful projected images, “The Year to Save the Earth” takes us from grief to celebration, and from protest to compassion for what’s beautiful, amazing, and fragile about our Earth. As well as hard reality, the program’s message is one of optimism with many invitations to join in the singing.
