You’re invited to a 5-à-7 to envision the future of the St. Patrick’s High School site. Join Avenir Saint-Patrick in exploring the potential and possibilities for repurposing the site once the high school moves to its new location. Free event, refreshments and snacks provided. The event is supported by SEEnet, whose role is to inform English-speaking Quebecers about the potential of collective enterprises in strengthening their communities and support English speakers in the development of collective initiatives.

Avenir Saint–Patrick will present its vision for the site, but more than anything, we’d like to know more about the English-speaking community’s ideas and aspirations for its future.
Avenir Saint-Patrick was founded by a group of citizens mobilized to create a housing cooperative and a collective space on the building and land of St. Patrick’s High School.
We believe it is essential to prioritize a citizen-driven, cooperative vision so that:
The redevelopment aligns with the needs of neighborhood residents, becoming a living environment integrated with and designed by and for the surrounding community;
The site’s heritage as an important place for generations of Quebec City’s English-speaking community is preserved with care and respect for both the built environment and its history.
