What does it mean to be a veteran? It can mean serving our country in uniform. It can also mean surviving life's hardest battles, finding the courage to start again, and discovering the strength to tell our stories.
Join **Northwest Florida Poets**, an affiliate of Emerald Coast Writers and a chapter of the Florida State Poets Association, for a special Veterans Day open mic celebrating courage, resilience, remembrance, and the healing power of words.
🗓️ **Wednesday, November 11, 2026**
🕔 **5:00–7:00 PM**
🎤 **FREE and OPEN TO ALL**
Share an original poem, read a favorite piece, tell your story, or simply come listen. You don't have to be a poet—or a veteran—to belong here.
Every voice has a story. Every story deserves to be heard.
