Float Like a Buffalo is rock with funk, ska, reggae, and jam influences. Nods to the funk of Lettuce and The Motet, jam of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, rock of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Chicago Transit Authority, soul of James Brown, & high-energy guitar licks of Jimi Hendrix all combine to make a unique sound that’s impossible not to dance to.
MINKA is a Philly-based synth-heavy funk band fronted by "The Jewish James Brown," Ari Rubin. The band uses influences of Prince, David Bowie, and The Talking Heads to fulfill their musical mission to make people move.
Interrobang‽ is a collaboration comprised of the songwriting partnership of Kiera Lynn (previously from Leo & the Lark) on vocals and guitar and Jacob Blackwell (newcomer to the Colorado music scene) on lead guitar. Heading up the rhythm section is Alex Buxton on bass and Lonnie Patrick on drums (both still currently with another local band as well, The ET's [Eternal Temples]). Kiera, Alex, and Lonnie have been playing around the local area for well over six years and have finally come together with Jacob's impressive melodic songwriting that mirrors Kiera's to create a powerhouse of new and original material that echoes the past but encourages change and progress - something different.
