About this Event

Emma Gee is the Interim Executive Director of Economic Growth and Neighbourhood Services (DEGNS). Emma is the Lead for all services within the directorate which include:

  • Culture
  • Planning, Transport and Public Protection
  • Infrastructure, Economy and Growth
  • Climate Strategy
  • Environmental and Commercial Services
  • Property and Assets

Emma is an experienced regeneration leader and qualified Town Planner with 20 years experience of working in the built environment and economic growth profession. Emma has had responsibility for a programme of major town centre regeneration schemes, which vary from enabling to direct delivery. Emma is passionate, informed and capable of affecting change in public sector thinking, process and delivery as well as influencing and harnessing private sector insight and investment. She has a strong background in regeneration, economic development and town centres and experience of planning and delivery of major schemes as well as large scale urban expansions.
