Cityscapes: Take a stroll through New York City and explore the architecture of skyscrapers and buildings using drawing, painting and mixed-media collage art strategies. Artists can choose to customize their city scene with the season of their choice from adding parks, skating rinks and cars. What to Expect:
Day 1: Plan and brainstorm. Layer newspaper for skyscrapers. Layer tissue paper to create the trees.
Day 2: Draw the skyscrapers. Paint the sky and park.
Day 3: Cut out trees and add in park details (cars, landscape, animals, NYC icons)
Day 4: RV canvas painting
Join us for an art show during the last 5 minutes of class.
