A Tribute to Jazz Rock Fusion of the 1970's

Great classics by Chick Corea, Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana, Weather Report, Steely Dan, Pat Metheny and more will be part of a tribute to the legends of the golden era of jazz/rock/fusion. Presented by members of Global Jazz Collegium and featuring vocalist André Neves as a special guest, this dynamic show is the one you don't want to miss!

Since 2020, Global Jazz Collegium released two albums of mostly original music and performed at Selby JazzFest (2022), TC Jazz Festival (2023 TPT stage), MN State Fair, Crooners Jazz Club, Icehouse Mpls, The Hook and Ladder Theater, Granada Theater, MetroNOME, KJ's Club, BERLIN Club, Jazz Central Studios, plus various outdoor concert series across the Twin Cities. Global Jazz Collegium's original music combines American jazz with elements of Mediterranean music, Brazilian, West African music and more, and the repertoire often includes a few classics by Chick Corea, Billy Cobham, Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock, Hermeto Pascoal and other legends of modern jazz. Occasionally, the group presents a special show called "A Tribute to Jazz Rock Fusion of the 1970's".
