Three Idle Women will take to the stage at St Andrew’s Church this October for an evening of music, storytelling, and community spirit – joined by the Idle Choir.
This special concert will feature songs from All Hands Together alongside unreleased tracks from their forthcoming 2026 album. With rich harmonies and evocative lyrics rooted in the history and daily rhythms of the Oxford Canal, their work is a homage to belonging to the landscape and the community that surrounds us.
“The canal has always been a place of working-class heritage, creativity, and resilience. We want to honour that, and remind people why these waters matter.” say the trio.
The performance is not just a concert – it’s an audio-visual celebration of heritage and the communities that live, work, and create on the canal. The trio will be joined by special guest musicians and The Idle choir.
