Our Vision Statement

MSU PRSSA’s look into the public relations industry is magnified by a tour of a local Baltimorean PR firm this fall.The in and outs of this industry are displayed by volunteer firm agents who want the secrets to success in public relations revealed to the next generations of PR agents.

Our Goals & Objectives

The event aims to highlight public relations as a career path stemming from a communications degree and offer students networking opportunities with professionals in various roles at a PR firm. The goal is for the event to become an annual tradition.

Key objectives include engaging employees with communications degrees, organizing small group interactions for networking during activities and lunch, and generating at least 200 likes on an Instagram post about the tour three days in advance. Additionally, the event will feature a 10-minute session on refining elevator pitches.

A 30-minute general body meeting before and after the tour will allow members to demonstrate their understanding of public relations and showcase how the tour enhanced their knowledge.
