Have you been missing mYak’s annual “A Night to Remember”, look no further. Come and join us at this exclusive event celebrating creativity, yarn and community against the charming backdrop of the West Village in New York City. It promises to be A Time to Remember.

🧶 What to Expect:

• A time ticketed curated marketplace from Friday, January 17 to Sunday, January 19 featuring tour friends from: Laine Publishing, Brooklyn General, La Bien Aimee, Julie Hoover Designs, Toft UK, Tuku Wool, Fibre Gentili, and of course mYak.
• A magical, close-knit atmosphere with limited tickets to keep the experience personal which will include book signing, raffles, giveways and games.
• Two different ticketed evening events – The Fiber Fête on Thursday Night and Purl and Pour on Friday Night.

We’ve gathered a select group of our friends and fiber stars to make this event truly special:

When we decided to organize a small, intimate event to recreate the magic atmosphere of A Night to Remember, last held in New York in January 2020, we knew we needed a truly special lineup to make it unforgettable. So, we gathered a select group of our friends, collaborators, and makers we deeply admire to create a unique experience for fiber enthusiasts.

We are honored that the following talented makers have accepted our invitation: Laine Publishing with Jonna Helin, Päivi Kankaro and thier guest Dee Hardwicke, Brooklyn General with Catherine Clark, La Bien Aimee, with Aimée Gille, Julie Hoover Designs, Toft UK with Kerry Lord, Tuku Wool with Tiina Huhtaniemi, Fibre Gentili and of course mYak with Paola, Andrea, Elena as well as our in-house designer Aimee DeBaun. This curated group will bring their exceptional artistry and passion to our marketplace, making every moment extraordinary.

EVENING EVENTS

on THURSDAY, January 16 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm

A Time To Remember kicks-off with a cocktail and light snacks. An intimate evening celebrating everything we love about yarn with some of the creative souls who make this community so special.

This event features some meet and greets with special trunk shows by Aimée Gille of La Bien Aimee, Jonna Helin and Dee Hardwicke as well as books signings and other guests.

You will have early access to the marketplace shopping; laughter will fill the air, and the energy will be electric as famed digital creators Nara Takeda of KnitLeaks and Olga Fedorayak of Gotham Knits will be there to keeping all our knitting friends up to date.

Note: This event has 2 types of tickets 1 for a gift bag or 1 for a VIP gift bag.

on FRIDAY night, 7:00 -9:00 pm

Get ready to let loose and celebrate in true yarn-loving fashion at Pour and Purl, our Friday night party that includes a special Fashion Show as part of A Time to Remember! Shop your favorite vendors while you sip on a glass of bubbly or a signature cocktail, and toast to all things yarn!

We’re rolling out the yarny red carpet for a special Fashion Show led by none other than Aimée Gille of La Bien Aimée! Watch in awe—or strut your stuff yourself—as some of you take the stage to model stunning knitwear. It’s your chance to shine in the spotlight, surrounded by fellow fiber enthusiasts. Whether you’re shopping, sipping, snapping selfies with friends (or make new ones!) as you laugh and chat your way through the evening, this is one party you don’t want to miss!

IMPORTANT TICKETS INFO

A Time To Remember is a reservation-only event, tickets are limited. To attend any of the events during A Time To Remember, tickets MUST be purchased in advance due to the venue’s limited capacity and to keep your experience intimate. Tickets will NOT be sold at the event and we will NOT be able to give access to people without a ticket.

Besides the evening events of Thursday and Friday night, all marketplace slots are timed entry. Each timed slot is 1 hour 30 min. We will have special one-hour timed slots for people with disabilities and immune-compromised each day (Friday- Sunday) at 10-11 am.
