On Sunday, April 13th, the Chancel Choir, with guest vocalists Tommy Ghent and Emily Eads, along with an orchestra comprised of students from local high schools, Harding University, UCA, ASU Jonesboro, and ASU Beebe, as well as professionals from Searcy, Beebe, and Conway, will present this wonderful cantata at the 11 am Traditional service of Searcy First Methodist.
From the passion of Gethsemane to the victory of the empty tomb, A Time For Alleluia celebrates the life of Christ and his redemptive work among us. Using Ecclesiasties as the biblical basis for her narration, Pamela Martin walks us through the seasons of Christ's life and takes us on a journey of faith that will impact the hearts of all who hear it. Joseph Martin's masterful score is brought to brilliant life in the colorful orchestrations of Brant Adams. (www.jwpepper.com)
