Saturday May 4th, Leftovers Comedy presents: A Three-Part Improv Extravaganza
At 7:30pm, join us for a LIVE SET RECORDING of local improv duo “The Boys in the City on the Weekend”! Enjoy this refreshing take on a two-person improv show featuring musical accompaniment from Adam Johnson, of Halifax’s “Dancing Queen” fame! This 45-minute set will be based on YOU, the AUDIENCE, and is sure to make you laugh, cry, and say ‘I need a drink’.
After a brief intermission, strap-in at 8:30pm for a brand new improv experience simply titled “THE BIT COW”. I can already hear you asking… What is “The Bit”? Who is “The Cow”??? All we know for sure is that one lucky (or unlucky) improviser will be chosen to be the star of the show… and being the star may just mean they’re not allowed to leave the stage once the show begins! Don’t miss out on seeing this hot new show where the steaks have never been higher!
Finally, if you’re left screaming “ENCORE!” : you can stick around for the ‘not-so-secret’ LATE SHOW! At 9:30pm, all of the night’s performers will come together to give you a completely unhinged and unintelligible showing of IMPROV GUESSING GAMES! Will it make any sense at all? Will it even be considered entertainment? Hop on the train to crazy town where YOU get to be the judge!
