A Thousand Tales

In January 2023 SAMIT Event Group presents the world-premiere of A Thousand Tales a new ballet production that promises to bring your favourite childhood tales to life in front of your very eyes! Taking place at Dubai Opera on the 6th and 7th of January the ballet presents an original narrative inspired by various childhood literary classics including Cinderella Sleeping Beauty Snow White Aladdin Puss in Boots The Three Musketeers and many more.

Audiences are invited to travel along on a magical adventure within this fantasy world which features a series of stunning costumes and exquisite set decorations designed by the renowned Roberta Guidi di Bagno as well as originally-choreographed routines from the mind of the celebrated Francesco Ventriglia. 

Each of the Principal Dancers in the cast has been purposefully selected from among the leading ballet companies in Europe and include amongst them Mario Galindo Alessandro Staiano Chiara Amirante Alessandro Riga Giada Rossi Susanna Salvi and Alessio Rezza. These talented artists will be joined by a Corps de Ballet hailing from the highest echelon of the contemporary ballet world.

At the heart of it all lies the music of acclaimed contemporary composer Alexey Shor with his melodic and evocative works forming the backbone around which the ballet is built emphasising its themes and drawing audiences ever deeper into its mystical realm. Famed for his tonal compositions Shor has also developed a sterling reputation for being the musical mind behind various productions and is thus perfectly situated to help craft the spellbinding world created in A Thousand Tales promising a truly unforgettable event to audiences of all ages!
