With their latest album, White Flag Down, Nashville's A Thousand Horses have paved that exact road with thunderous guitars and cinematic choruses. Telling the most personal story the band has ever put to tape, the record explores divorce, recovery, and the journey of healing.
Instead of pulling back into acoustic melancholy, the band turned the amplifiers up. Fusing their signature rock storytelling with 90s-inspired guitar anthems, tracks like "Dead Man Walking" and the Aaron Gillespie collaboration "Shadows" push the group deeper into modern rock territory while keeping their Southern grit intact.
