Join us at the Bailey Contemporary Arts Center for an evening of music and culture with A Taste of Jazz. On the second Thursday of every month, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, immerse yourself in the rich history of jazz while enjoying a wine tasting experience. This event, featuring Martin Hand and the Gold Coast Jazz Quartet, offers an entertaining and educational exploration of jazz’s roots and its evolution into a cornerstone of American music.
Kicking off at 7:00 pm with a wine tasting, followed by a captivating performance from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, the evening promises to be a journey through time, highlighting how jazz has influenced popular music over the past century. The Gold Coast Jazz Society, a key figure in preserving jazz heritage in Broward County since 1992, will guide you through the story of this dynamic genre.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for Pompano Beach residents, while students can attend for free. Due to limited space, reservations on Eventbrite are highly encouraged. Please note that no tickets will be sold at the door.
