A Taste of Copperplate

This beginner-friendly workshop will guide you through Copperplate basic strokes & the lowercase letters. The script is known for its graceful slant, thin upstrokes, thick downstrokes & its elegant appearance. Often used today for formal invitations & certificates, these decorative letters will have you captivated with calligraphy! Attendees will receive a detailed handout to further their practice at home.

What’s Included:

• Discussion of various brush pens & papers for calligraphy
• 2 Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pens
• Step by step instruction of writing Copperplate script, beginning with basic strokes & continuing to lowercase alphabet
• Detailed handout to write in during class
• Handout includes entire capital & lowercase alphabets for reference
• Handout & brush pens are yours to take home for further practice

Workshop Tickets are Final Sale and not eligible for refunds:

• Our Workshop Tickets are like concert or event tickets - they are non-refundable but are transferable to a different person. If you find yourself unable to attend a workshop, you may find some one to take your place.
• If someone else will be taking your ticket, Email Us and let us know their name so we can add it to our list. In the case of unsafe weather like a severe snow storm, we will cancel the workshop and reschedule for a future date. If you’re unable to attend the rescheduled date, we will offer you a refund.

Accessibility Note: Lot’sa is located on a ground floor. There is a single stall bathroom, (not ADA accessible). There is an ADA accessible bathroom at a nearby business if needed.
