A Taste of Belly DanceWelcome to this 60 minute class to introduce you to the movements of belly dance. Movements of muscle isolation to create the lines which produce the shimmies and the curves that bring volume to circles and undulations that are well known and unique to the dance that is called belly dance around the world.
Learn the history of the dance from where its originates from and listen to music that continues to influence the music of today.
Many people come to belly dance for different reasons. Some out of curiosity, a fun way to exercise, the art, dress up opportunities, entertainment or a connection.
Belly dance is my first dance. I have been studying the form since 2002 and teaching since 2016. It speaks to my soul.
