The Life Stories project is excited to announce a community event at Tavistock College on Monday 2nd December 6-7:30pm!
The Life Stories project at TASS (Tavistock Area Support Services) have been running a project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, called 'A Tale of Three Schools: Preserving Tavistock's Educational Heritage'. We have been looking at students' and teachers' experiences of schooling during the 1920s through to the 1960s at state secondary schools (the secondary modern, grammar and comprehensive schools (Tavistock College)) in Tavistock.
Please come along to this free event to hear from The Life Stories project as well as some of Tavistock College's current students, who will be giving their experiences of life at the college! Tea and coffee provided.
