If you want a cure for seasonal depression, try a Jazz Session! For the second time, we're bringing our swinging flavour to familiar Christmas classics and some deeper holiday cuts that you might have never heard. We've got 10 original arrangements played by 10 of the valley's finest musicians. Whether you have familiar memories of sitting by fire listening to the likes of Sinatra and Vince Guaraldi, or you want to hear something adventurous, we've got all your bases covered (and your bass, courtesy of Mr. Alexander Argatoff). So check it out and take in some of the sounds of the season with us. We're looking forward to seeing you there!

Our band this year is lead by Mr. Harrison Argatoff, a full time professional tenor saxophonist based in Toronto who has already released no fewer than 4 albums. Joining him in the Saxophone section are Chris Startup on Bari, a long time Vancouver pro, and Zach Griffin, a diversely talented local music teacher. In the brass section, local symphony stalwart Bob Rogers is joined by up-and-comer Niamh Klappe on the Trombone. On trumpets, we have the serendipitous playing of Emily Denison and the powerful lead of Joe Auty. Finally, in the rhythm section, Chris Collier takes a break from doing cool science to show you how good a ride cymbal can sound, Alexander Argatoff lays it down Ray Brown, and I, Spencer Dean, try to keep with them all on Piano.
