A space to gather, connect, and feel seen.Join us for A Sunday Fête, a warm and welcoming brunch experience created especially for BIPOC women and femmes to come together in celebration of community, creativity, and shared brilliance.
In a city where BIPOC women and femmes are often underrepresented — in leadership, in social spaces, in visibility — A Sunday Fête is a chance to gather in celebration, joy, and rest.
This is more than a brunch—it's a moment to exhale, to network, to build new friendships, and to feel seen in a space designed with us in mind. Whether you're an entrepreneur, a student, a leader, or simply someone craving meaningful connection, you're invited.
What to Expect:
Delicious brunch in the Neighbourly cafe in KWENCH
A Professional headshot by Aly Sibley (included with your ticket)
A henna artist offering beautiful designs onsite
Space to build meaningful connections with fellow BIPOC women and femmes
A warm, welcoming atmosphere where you can feel fully at ease
Whether you're new to Victoria or have been holding space here for years, you're invited to show up exactly as you are. Let’s brunch, build, and belong — together.
Tickets are limited to 60 guests. Early bird pricing is available — grab your spot while they last!.
FAQs
Who is this event for?
This brunch is for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) women and femmes aged 19+. It’s a space centered on shared connection, joy, and community.
Is this event only for entrepreneurs?
Not at all! While we welcome business owners and creatives, this event is open to any BIPOC woman or femme looking for connection, community, and good food.
What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes a delicious brunch, coffee/tea, and access to a beautiful space for connection, conversation, and celebration.
What should I wear?
Whatever makes you feel comfortable and fabulous! There will be headshots taken, so you may want to wear something you love being photographed in — but there’s no dress code.
Will there be speeches or a formal program?
There’s no formal program, but there will be space for shoutouts, small intros, and optional sharing if you'd like to highlight your work or celebrate something.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely — as long as they identify as a BIPOC woman or femme, we’d love to have them. Just be sure each person has a ticket.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable! If you can’t make it, you’re welcome to pass your ticket to another BIPOC woman or femme.
Is this a recurring event?
We’re starting with this brunch, and if the vibes are right, we hope to host more Sunday Fête gatherings in the future!
