The Rotary Club of Derby is marking historic progress towards a polio-free world this year by organising a Stroll in the Park to mark World Polio Day and the worldwide efforts to eradicate the paralysing disease once and for all.
The Rotary Club of Derby has organised a Stroll in the Park taking place at Derby Arboretum on 24th October at 10:30 am. Open to everyone we will be starting and finishing this leisurely walk around the pathways of Derby Arboretum at Loudon Lodge (the refurbished old Joseph Strutt Bowls Club). We will kick off the event with some short films on the history of Rotary’s campaign to rid the world of polio. There will be refreshments to enjoy after the walk. Parking is at the nearby Grove Street car park (DE23 6UR)
