A Stroke of Love is a heartfelt evening of art, Italian cuisine, and community giving! Our goal is to raise enough funds and donations to create a personalized Memory Basket for every resident at Dove Health Care this holiday season.This special Italian Dinner & Paint Night Fundraiser invites you to enjoy a cozy evening of painting, dining, and community compassion. You’ll create a festive winter or holiday painting — and you can choose to take your artwork home or donate it to be included in a Memory Basket.
Each basket will be filled with care, comfort, and holiday joy, lovingly coordinated by Rosie’s Promises. Your participation helps Rosie’s Promises deliver comfort, kindness, and meaningful gifts to residents at Dove Health Care.
🍽 Dinner Menu
Soup or Salad (choice of):
- Zuppa Toscana – a creamy Italian favorite with sausage, potatoes, kale, and herbs.
- Classic Italian Garden Salad – crisp greens with ripe tomatoes, red onion, black olives, parmesan, and zesty Italian dressing.
Entrée (choice of):
- Chicken Alfredo – tender grilled chicken served over fettuccine pasta in a rich and creamy Alfredo sauce, finished with parmesan and a hint of garlic.
- Homestyle Lasagna – layers of rich meat sauce, cheeses, and tender pasta.
Both entrées served with warm garlic bread.
Dessert:
Panna Cotta with Fresh Berries – a smooth, creamy Italian classic to end the night on a sweet note.
💵 $50 per person covers your meal and art experience. If you’re able, please consider an additional $25 donation to help fund a Memory Basket for a Dove Health Care resident. Our goal: one basket for every resident — and together, we can make it happen!
