A staged reading written and performed by DAMA Estrada

As a way of self-preservation and emotional release during the COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020, Dama began recording her thoughts, and reflections on a daily basis. Through this writing ritual, she discovered a new language, of contemporary, musical, urban style that delivers an unfiltered and nostalgic glimpse into her mind and world while quarantined in her apartment in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Dama is a transdisciplinary artist, cultural manager and community leader well-versed in the world of film, advertising, costume design, writing, conceptualization management, and production of cultural and musical events.

50TENA is an act of courage and creative spontaneity. For the audience, this staged reading is an opportunity to witness performing arts in its development phase and to participate in the birthing process of a potential new screenplay.
