A Spring Soirée by Tango Therapy Project (TTP)

Shake off those wintery cobwebs and join us for a night of dancing, music, and community at our inaugural fundraiser on Saturday, March 8 at Trinity Memorial Church!

TTP is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization conceived in 2023 with the mission to provide therapeutic benefit, improve quality of life, spark joy, and promote social connection through Argentine tango. We are a group of Philadelphia-based dancers who are inspired by scientific research demonstrating tango’s unique benefits for people with Parkinson’s Disease (PD), as well as individuals with other motor and neurological disorders and mental and physical conditions. Funds from this event will support expanding our programming to serve individuals living with PD and other movement and neurological disorders. 5:30 - 8:30pm

• Dinner & Open Bar
• LIVE musical performances by Foux and Friends; Casual Fifth; The Parkinsingers
• TTP Program Presentation
• Beginner Tango Class (no partner or experience required!)

8:30 - 11:30pm

• Milonga (a tango social dance) featuring Tango DJ Pablo Garcia Gomez
• LIVE dance performances (West Coast Swing by Angela Risser and Gerry Morris; Stage Tango by Jackie Pham and Sean Erikson; Argentine Tango by Sarah Chung and Damian Lobato)
• Open Bar & Light Snacks

Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a raffle for a chance to win exciting prizes featuring:

• Gift certificates to local businesses
• One-of-a-kind artwork (ceramics, paintings, others)
• Tickets to BalletX
• Tango shoes

Parking: Free street parking; $12 flat rate lot at 2401 Walnut St

Ticket Cost: General $110; Milonga Only (entrance opens 8:15pm) $50

• A limited number of community tickets are available on a donation basis. Students (of any level with a valid student ID are welcome to use code TTP_STU50 for 50% off any ticket)
