A Special Second Mondays Open Mic (on a Tuesday) - Over $3k in Prizes!

Second Mondays is a multi-disciplinary open mic for Black people to share and enjoy incredible art. The stage welcomes comedy, poetry, singing, rapping, instrumentalists, and more!

It's what we at have been doing for three years.

And... it's fun AF!

We're partnering with the Black Joy Parade again and you know what that means... PRIZES ????!!!

Four artists will win money ?.

One of those winners will win a slot on the Black Joy Parade stage. They'll perform in front of THOUSANDS.

- 1st Place: $1,500

- 2nd Place: $700

- 3rd Place: $500

- Freestyle Cypher: $500

-Guests must present an RSVP at the door.

- Guests will enter on a first come first serve basis until we reach capacity.

The Second Mondays open mic is open to Black creatives. That includes comedians, musicians, poets, actors performing monologues, dance, etc.

Event doors and open mic list open at 6 pm. Artists, when we tell you to get there EARLY to get on the list.. we mean it.

• Besides our two recent slot winners, if you have placed at a Second Mondays event in the past, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO perform.
• Our stage is home to Black creatives.
• Artists have 5 minutes to perform on stage.
• Artist must only perform one piece.
• If you have instrumentals, be ready to airdrop your instrumentals to our DJ.
• Be prepared to perform acapella if there are issues sending your instrumentals.
• Your art must be respectful to the people in the space. To our community.
