Tjawangwa Dema will share selections from her award-winning book, The Careless Seamstress, followed by readings of translations into German and Brazilian Portuguese. After the reading, there will be a conversation about her work with translators, exploring the complexities and joys of translation and the experience of being a poet in a multilingual world. Aspiring poets are invited to join Dema for an intensive session of writing and creative exploration.
