About this Event

For almost 100 years, bells in Rush Rhees Library have resounded on the River Campus and beyond.

Join Melissa Mead, John M. and Barbara Keil University Archivist and Rochester Collections Librarian, for a 30-minute story telling session before the 6:30pm concert. Learn about the history of the bells, how they are played, who has played them, and their deep connection to University and community life.

Meet at the center of Eastman Quadrangle for a 5:45pm start. Finish in time to enjoy the carillon concert at 6:30pm.
