A Sign for Your Croydon with Jhinuk Sarkar

What sign is missing in Croydon for you? What would you like to see signposted around the borough? Now is your chance to design a sign inside the Wiggle Wonderland with Illustrator Jhinuk Sarkar. Join this drop in workshop on Tuesday 18th February to create your own message or sign, using traditional sign painting tips and tricks. Work with paints, brushes, pens, include symbols, use stencils of local landmarks and write in any language. Make a sign that’s missing from your Croydon!

Wiggle Wonderland is a timber-framed pavilion and open-air gallery that displays the works of artists and communities in different locations. From hosting live performances to workshops, each install of the pavilion evolves and is shaped by people and place, with collaboration and co-creation being core to the project. Wiggle Wonderland was founded by architectural designer Beau McCarthy and artist Lucy Grainge. It was launched in 2021, with support from Arts Council England.
