A Shady Grove Christmas

We are exited to announce that our friends Tom Eure and Amelia Osborne and the Province of Thieves are returning to the Shady Grove listening room for a very special holiday concert on December 7th, at 5pm! As always, 100% of all ticket sales goes directly to compensate our our talented performers.

The folk duo of Tom Eure & Amelia Osborne offer up a heartfelt fusion of Folk, Celtic, and Appalachian influences. The two come together as a veteran singer songwriter and a fine artist with the voice of an angel, combining their multi-instrumentalist talents to paint a musical picture as uplifting as it is engaging.

In concert, Eure & Osborne seamlessly change from one instrument to the next, swirling together fiddles, banjos, bodhrán, mandolins, guitars, and rousing vocal harmonies. Everywhere they perform, from listening rooms, to theaters and festivals are filled with a sound that feels like a breath of fresh air. Audiences are taken on a ride that leads them from laughter to tears, waltzes to foot stomping, along with a few detours that takes them straight to church.

A music mainstay of the region, Province of Thieves continues to spin their thoughtful original lyrics with transporting melodies with on-point harmonies and adroit musicianship. From the the serious to the whimsical, from the contemplative to the hilarious … the Thieves deliver with honesty, creativity, ard virtuosity.

And now they have applied their artistry toward a new seasonal project, “At Christmas Time”. A collection of traditional favorites and original tracks with a fresh, but familiar, take on the holiday season. The band promises to render all of the tracks on their new Christmas album, plus bonus tunes from the past.
