Let’s chat about these two lovebirds for a minute:
Jack and Jackie met in the mid-1990’s. They dated for a looooonnngg time. They married on September 18th, 2001. The life and home they built together was full of love and contagious laughter (remember how Jack could get a whole room going? 🤣). They loved to travel with their friends & attend every game/performance/meet/recital their grandkids were in.
We lost Jack on July 12 this year. He had gone to the hospital two weeks earlier where it was discovered he had widespread cancer and was sent home on hospice. He spent his last two weeks surrounded by his friends, his daughters, his grandchildren, his siblings, and his wife, Jackie.
The last thing he said to Jackie, a day before he passed, was “I love you, too.”
Jack didn’t want any funeral services. So instead, we’re doing a send-off for Jackie.
Later in September, Jackie will be heading to Colorado to leave some of Jack in one of their favorite places to travel.
