On Sunday, June 14 from 3:00–5:00 pm, we invite the community to “A Semiquincentennial Tapestry,” a multi-media art exhibition in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. In partnership with The National Society of Colonial Dames of America in the state of GA, this collaborative project brings together 13 community and student artists creating 50 unique works that blend the evolution of American flags with the mapping of diverse urban centers, offering a powerful dialogue between history, geography, and contemporary identity.
