Event Description

Woodard & Curran and Thornton Tomasetti invite you to A Seat at the Table. This diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) event will be held from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14th on the sixth floor of Woodard & Curran’s Portland office. The event begins with networking and light refreshments followed by a panel discussion moderated by Amy LeBel of Woodard & Curran, featuring Vandana Juneja of Thornton Tomasetti, Margaret Angell of the Roux Institute, and Kevin Trainor of Woodard & Curran. Panelists will be asked questions that inform how we can foster a sense of inclusion and make room for others to have a seat at the table.

The evening will cover topics including inclusive leadership, building professional and personal networks, race and gender in the workplace, emotional labor, and advocating for yourself and others. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask panelist questions before breaking out into smaller groups for further discussion.
