A Seat at the Table: An Arts & Culture Experience

The Urban League of Hampton Roads (ULHR) in collaboration with the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Arts (VMOCA) will host “A Seat at the Table: An Arts & Culture Experience,” in celebration of the 3rd Annual Something in the Water Music Festival. A fundraiser for ULHR, this event will showcase emerging and nationally renowned Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) artists, talented musicians, and designers from various disciplines. Additionally, the event will include an Arts & Culture panel conversation with representation from VMOCA, the Recording Academy, prominent creators and entrepreneurs discussing the importance of supporting BIPOC arts and culture, and elevating their voices and platforms, especially amongst emerging creatives in the Hampton Roads region. This registered-ticket event offers a unique museum exhibit experience and promises to be the heartbeat of Hampton Roads creatives.
