A Search for Meaning beyond the Visible

Is there more to Life than what meets the eye? Plato, along with countless philosophers from the East and West, dedicated their lives to discovering a deeper reality beyond the visible. We tend to be so taken by our everyday routines, but perhaps, if we learn to cultivate a deeper lens to view ourselves and circumstances, we may uncover tools to live with more meaning, purpose and contentment.

Join philosophers of New Acropolis as we draw inspiration and practical insights from the profound lessons of Plato’s Allegory of the Cave, one of the most influential philosophical works that explores timeless questions about reality, knowledge, perception and enlightenment.

This Event is hosted by New Acropolis Mumbai, a School of Philosophy, which is run and managed completely by volunteers, who come together in the common pursuit of Philosophy as a way of Life.

To make the most of this event:

• Please be there by 5:45pm to meet other Aspiring Philosophers.

• Look forward to Q&A with the Instructor at the end of the Talk

• The session will contain a short break with Tea/Coffee and light snacks. Use the time to interact with other participants.

• Volunteers from New Acropolis will be available to receive and help you. Please ask them all your questions!
