No time to hibernate, it's the Scallywag Autumn Party!
As we celebrate the end of the most amazing summer that climate change could have gifted us, we're so happy to announce that we're coming back to Whitecliffs to gather with you all. And there's no better way to party than with a band that we've wanted to host for years. They are festival gold dust and will make you dance your socks off so buckle up and get ready to party like it's still summer!
As always, get your tickets early , you know the score, almost all our parties sell out in advance so act now if you fancy it.
If you are yet to experience a Scallywag party at Whitecliffs then now is the time! It’s a glorious beachfront bash with sofa sea views, bar food, massive terrace with a fire pit overlooking the sea and all the scallywag trimmings. Expect a bringing together of light hearted lovers of good times with live music, DJ's, walkabout performance, face painting, laughter and tomfoolery. We bring the music but you make the party. The vibes are high in this very special place so come get involved as we showcase our favourite independent festival acts and DJ's from across the UK.
Doors at 8pm, First live act on before 9pm, live music until late, DJ's until 2am.
THE LINE UP SO FAR
MR TEA & THE MINIONS - United by a love of tea, energetic dancing, cheeky riffs, silly hats, and cake, Mr Tea and the Minions have been unleashing their colourful explosion of musical mayhem on unsuspecting audiences for over a decade and we've finally got them on at a scallywag party!
Their raucous Ska Folk blended with full-fat Balkan beats and a squeeze of tangy Dub has made them party-starting festival favourites – and has inspired frenzied dancing all over the UK and Europe, with almost 250 festival appearances including Glastonbury, Boomtown, WOMAD, Secret Garden Party, Shambala, Belladrum, Wilderness, Nozstock, and Goulash Disko, to name just a few. This act will blow you away, don't miss this rare opportunity to see them at an intimate venue in sussex.
NUMBER THREE SOUND SYSTEM - Spawned from the East Kent coast are a trio of producers with a deep love of dub, reggae and acid techno. Live percussion and electric guitar compliments loops and big bass beats that'll take you on a journey from 90's rave into the future of festival friendly electronica. We're very excited to welcome this brand new act into the scallywag family and you won't be disappointed.

We’ve introduced fairer ticket prices to help more people access the party and allow us to continue hosting events. Please be honest and buy the ticket that applies to your financial situation and by doing so you’ll be helping the party be sustainable for all. Venue - So happy to be returning to the wonderful Whitecliffs beachfront cafe bar, bringing in our own stage and sound system and raising the roof in a way that only a Scallywag Party can. It's well worth the trek to East Brighton and unlike any other party, we’re out of town so plenty of chilled vibes, we have the beach on our doorstep, a nice long live music hall with a bar and lots of covered outdoor space with comfy sofas, fire pit and views looking out to the sea. There is no parking at the venue but close by there is free overnight parking in the Saltdean Tavern car park as well as on street parking and a pay and display at the Lido.
Party Safety - We work really hard to create parties that are a welcoming and safe spaces to be enjoyed by all. For your safety, and as with all venues, a security team will be present and conducting bag searches on the door. We trust you understand what is cool and what is not, and any antisocial and/or illegal activity will not be tolerated. In an instance of this trust being broken, inappropriate behaviour will be dealt with nicely but firmly and swiftly. Thank you for keeping all our previous events so safe, we really appreciate your help and the way the Scallywag family looks out for each other, long may it continue!

If you're yet to have the pleasure of hanging out in a field with us at one of our previous festivals or events then expect awesome live music, laughter, smiles, chilled days, magic nights, tomfoolery and togetherness.
Our music policy is always eclectic and always good time invoking. Expect Power Folk, Reggae, Afrobeat, Gypsy, Dub, Electronica and everything in between. There will be some acts you will know and some acts you will not, but in true Scallywag Party style, expect to be entertained, enlivened and enlightened!
