"A SALSA CELEBRATION' 20 years in the making.
When. Saturday November 29.
Where. Geelong West Neighborhood House
89 Autumn Street. Geelong West. 3218
Time. Doors open at 6:30 and we dance until 11pm.
Cost. $25.00 payable at the door. Cash preferred.
BYO. Food/snacks/platters and drinks are all BYO.
*Water is available so bring your water bottle.
Class. Open level "Rueda" by Aloy Junco at 7pm.
Live music. Followed by "Son Geelong" playing live Latin tunes.
Yes that's right, Club La Vida Salsa has been bringing the energy and joy of Cuban Salsa to the Geelong community for well over 2 decades! And we plan to celebrate with another wonderful night of dancing, filled with infectious Latin rhythms.
Here's some other important stuff to get you ready for the fun;
Once you arrive, find yourself a table amongst our inclusive community as we treat you to some of our favorite tracks. At 7pm one of the absolute pioneers of Cuban Salsa in Geelong "ALOY JUNCO" from "CUBANEO" dance in Melbourne will put us through our paces in an "Open level" Rueda class (I.e. all levels welcome). Follow that by the infectious sounds of Geelong's newest Latin band "SON GEELONG" bought to you by Dale and Sonoka of Geelong Salsa and throw in a great playlist and some fun Sueltas (dancing in lines) and we reckon we've got your Salsa Flava sorted!
So, join us as we not only celebrate the effervescence of Cuban Salsa with its expression through movement but also the enduring legacy that is our/your "CLUB LA VIDA SALSA"
