Co-hosted by Corey “Mr. Petty” Jones and LB the Poet, the stage will stay lit with energy, heart, and humor from start to finish. Add powerhouse speakers and published authors Hakeem Bourne McFarlane and Kenny Knight, along with artist/songwriter Tarzén's powerful lyrics and passion-driven artistry, calling us to feel deeply and connect beyond the surface. Tying it all together, DJ Micki Blendz -The Curator of Quality Vibes. She transforms transitions into experiences, reminding us that music is the fabric of every experience. A lineup so stacked it feels like the hotel pillows you can’t even fit on one bed and impossible to miss.

From the creator: A Safe Place to Dream was born out of lived experience growing up as one of seven children, navigating nights on cold floors, searching for comfort in safe places. Years later, another child’s story met mine through a call from a former colleague asking if I could babysit for one night. That night stretched into many, as her parents disappeared into cycles of addiction, J*il, the loss of her father, and her mother’s long fight toward recovery and reunification. In that season, my sons and I became her safe place. These experiences revealed the true weight of rest, the necessity of comfort, and the strength of stability fueling our purpose to create a safe place to land, along with a brave place to begin again. Today, A Safe Place to Dream is dedicated to support youth and families in foster care and our community, providing the personal comfort of bedding and essentials that allow them what every child deserves: the dignity of rest, the safety to dream, and the strength to step into brighter futures.
