Have fun with your progressive soul-mates and Chris Donovan’s band, The Denz. This special Drinking Liberally Meriden event doesn’t have any other agenda than pure merriment and great company. The Denz is a guaranteed-good-time rock ‘n’ roll band led by former Speaker of the House Chris Donovan, with Scott Harris, Paul Garych and Chris Perone. We’ll be on the patio, weather permitting. (Please note that it’s not our regular second Tuesday.)You are invited to Drinking Liberally Meriden on Thursday, June 17, 7:00 pm – but you don't have to be from Meriden and you don't have to drink. Drinking Liberally provides a casual opportunity for left-of-center folks to get together, engage in good conversation and hear stimulating speakers. While this month is a special event, we usually gather on the second Tuesday of every month, 7:00 pm at the Dawg House Bar & Grill, 999 Broad Street, Meriden.
