Welcome to A Pull of the Old Toby, a 440 Point Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game 1-day Singles Event, held at Board in Brum.After the rout of Isengard, Saruman’s stores were plundered. A particular batch of the Old Toby was discovered, in substantial quantity! Gimli, Son of Gloin, has taken a liking to this rather fruity crop.
The company now moves on, but Gimli has decided that the leaf is coming with him! His persistent use of the leaf has limited his combat prowess, or frankly any sense of whose side he’s on!
Your force, whether good or evil, will inherit this “Gimli” for free – like it or not!
BUT, this is a Gimli under the influence and will assume a special profile. More on that later!
The Victory Points for the Scenarios being played at this event have been altered, to encourage keeping your Gimli alive and involved!
