Free concert -- In anticipation of our performance of JS Bach's Goldberg Variations....With Strings Attached (May 17-18),
Artist-in-Residence, Stephen Gamboa Diaz has been working all season with Apprentices Breana McCullough, Ian Jones (from left), Grant Johnson and former apprentice, now orchestra member Julia Taylor to create this deeper dive into the mystique of the Goldberg Variations. These talented emerging artists will play compositions which illustrate more use of the canon technique that Bach used, a piece composed by the famous Goldberg himself, and a violin arrangement by Julia Taylor.
