Take a dip into the story behind Brighton’s new .

At the heart of the soon-to-open Sea Lanes on the former Peter Pan site on Madeira Drive is a 50m open-air, heated swimming pool that’s accessible to all.

The vision? To create the UK’s first national open water swimming centre of excellence.

Join this Behind the Scenes as we dive into the history and culture of competitive and recreational sea-swimming in Brighton. We’ll find out how Sea Lanes will act as a gateway for those looking to make a splash – from learning to sea swim, training for open-water swimming events and triathlons, to sea safety and lifeguard courses.

The pool will also be supported by small business units for retail, health and fitness, office space and street food.

During your visit, hear from two of the key people driving the Sea Lanes project: Joe McNulty (Director of Copsemill Properties) and Harry Smith (Director of QED Sustainable Urban Developments. They’ll share how the project came about, the journey the team have been on to realise their dream, and give us a sneak peek at the new development.

What's the refund policy?

Places are limited, and events are usually oversubscribed. Please give two working days’ notice via email for a refund* or you’ll be required to pay for your place in full.

*Eventbrite booking fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or there are duplicate charges.

Can I attend if I am not a member of the Chamber?

If you have never been a member of the Chamber you can book and join as a guest at two of our events (just one Chamber Breakfast). After this, you will need to join the Chamber to enjoy the benefits of membership. If you'd like to join the Chamber you can find out more on our website.
