Osvald Rivera is an alternative jazz-rock group specializing in Pan-American music. They use poetic lyrics and worldly grooves to traverse time periods, sounds, and styles.

Under the music direction of arranger-composer-guitarist Jude Markey-Smith, the group features the montuno stylings of pianist Walker White, the cosmopolitan flow of electric guitarist Finn O’Rourke, the improvisational prowess of bassist Graham Hirsch, and the understated thunder of drummer Ivan Brooke.
