A Night of Vietnamese Immersion

On Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 6:00 PM, the First Senior Center of Georgia (FSCofGA) will host “A Night of Vietnamese Immersion,” a black tie celebration honoring Vietnamese culture, community, and tradition.

Guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening exploring the richness of the Vietnamese experience through vibrant performances, cultural programming, and authentic cuisine. The event will also support the vital work of FSCofGA, a senior center and food assistance hub that operates the largest food pantry serving Vietnamese and other families experiencing food insecurity in the Southeast United States.

Led by Founder and CEO Von Tran, this first of its kind gala for FSCofGA will immerse attendees in the beauty and spirit of Vietnamese culture.

Throughout the evening, guests will experience a dynamic showcase of visual, musical, and cultural performances, including Vietnam’s famous Lion Dance, traditional and contemporary Vietnamese music and dance, opera, a cultural pop up shop, a special auction, and more.

With an audience of distinguished leaders in business, public service, philanthropy, and community organizations from the Atlanta area and beyond, the evening will celebrate culture, community, and the collective effort to support seniors and families in need.

During the evening, FSCofGA will proudly honor Gwinnett County legend Wayne Mason for his contributions to the community.
